This afternoon the sun finally shone. It has been a while. Yesterday was cold and wet and made for a very miserable day. A day I had had such high hopes for too. I had planned to go thrift shopping with a friend. We went to 11 various thrift, secondhand and antique shops and I have not one single thing to show for it. It was such a disappointing day and the soggy wet made it seem so much worse. However today the sun came out and everything seems a little bit better when the sun is shining.
A sunny afternoon is just perfect for...
Playing with trucks and stones....
Sailing in your pirate ship...
Rocking...
Feeding chickens...
Checking for eggs...
And chopping enough kindling to get us through the next lots of rainy days.
